Description Seattle grandmother and writer Bev Harris questioned her election officials as to why electronic voting machines were being used in her county in 2002. Unsatisfied with their explanation, she conducted research on her own she found hundreds of reported incidents of mishandled voting information and came across an online library of the Diebold Corporation, a company responsible for 40% of presidential votes nationwide in the 2000 elections. As her investigation continued, she drew upon the expertise of computer experts, politicians and activists to explain the very real possibility of how electronic voting can be hacked without detection.
